What is SeatBadlo?

SeatBadlo is an independent Android app that helps passengers on the same train and journey date find a willing partner for a voluntary seat or berth exchange.

Can I get a guaranteed lower berth?

No. You can request a lower berth preference, but a swap depends on another passenger agreeing and any applicable railway restrictions. SeatBadlo does not allocate official railway berths.

Is SeatBadlo free?

Seat swapping in SeatBadlo is free. Download the official app from Google Play. Do not pay a stranger for a promised match or upgrade.

Is it an official IRCTC app?

No. SeatBadlo is not affiliated with Indian Railways or IRCTC, and it does not issue or transfer railway tickets.

Why did I not find a match?

There may be no passenger on your train and date whose preferences match yours, or a request may be declined. Keep your assigned seat if an exchange is not agreed.

Can I swap across different trains?

No. SeatBadlo is intended to help passengers on the same train and journey date. It is not a way to change your train booking.
